Back in the day autumn/Halloween family fun!

Cam dug out these pics for you Ashley babe; you were 6 wks old, 23 years ago in the first pic (I know, crazy outfit I was wearing we all burst out laughing when we saw it again lol); a few more pumpkin patch pics throughout the years, and daddy and I when I was serving as the stake Activities Director & we planned a fun dress in costume dance - dad and I were "over the hill Barbie & mid-life crisis Ken" now we could be "burnt out Barbie and hen pecked Ken hahaha, don't you just love our wigs?! NOT! And then of course our cute little spider girl ... Well, that's it for autumn / Halloween memories for this year; now on to lovely Thanksgiving festivities!

Autumns End

Cameron, Ashley and I all enjoy photography and autumn in picturesque Pennsylvania is simply breathtaking! After treating the sister missionaries, who are assigned to our ward, for breakfast I enjoyed a leisurely drive home with Cam as we meandered throughout the area that surrounds our home enjoying the quaint country views.
I love the barns and bridges in our area; I know, crazy me but there is something so dear about old farm houses, barns, and winding country roads that warm my heart; and ever the 'writer' within me can't help but conjure up a story in my mind regarding the setting. I love moments like these; chatting with one family member or the other who is along for the ride on one of my outings as we create sweet, lasting memories!
Today I shared laughter combined with serious discussions about a myriad of topics with my son which also happened to include sheep, barns, tire swings and autumn leaves fluttering about.

Trick or Treat ... Connor Potter :)

Connor Potter our cute little Gryffindor wizard dressed in his non muggle attire enjoyed his first Halloween trick or treating at his three great grandmothers; Grandma Laverne, Sharon & Malc, and Betty.  What an adorable little guy he is with his magic wand, owl, cauldron and lightening bolt scar painted on his forehead.  Terrific, creativity mommy and daddy (football player and Ariel)

Ahhhhhh Autumn!

During Cam's run today = Pennsylvania pretty!

I love TD Ameritrade! Their Pittsburgh team rocks! After our most recent meeting it was fun to catch Cam in his office for a minute between clients! Cool beans that he has displayed pics of his sister and brother-in-law in whom he adores along with his little nephew (he can't wait to touch down in Salt Lake for a quick but fun visit with them). He also has a pic of his good ol' mom and dad - this guy warms our hearts

My advice to any of you who haven't seriously started working on a retirement plan (the younger you are, even the better) meet with a qualified planner, don't be hesitant it's good business sense to at least speak to a professional in the field of finance. If TD Ameritrade happens to be your choice their creative team has been ranked #1 in the country; we know we are in good hands!! If you have any questions ask Cam as he is more than happy to explain things in a simple understandable way for you as well. Don't just assume that your retirement is far away and/or that you can wing it; a solid plan gives one peace of mind and much to look forward to!

Autumn Fun!

It's been 14 years since Cam was last at our favorite pumpkin patch with us.  He was age 14 during his last visit and then became very busy with high school and his sports after which he left for college out west, an LDS mission in Hong Kong and back to Utah to complete his education and begin working.  We are delighted he is back in the burgh for a time and without skipping a beat creating wonderful memories with us once again on this side of the country! (A few pics of our family selecting just the right pumpkins for jack-o-lanterns)

The giant rubber ducky has traveled around the world and made it 1st debut stop in America here in Pittsburgh!  Making a statement in the realm of art it fits right in with the Andy Warhol museum and many other studios, galleries, museums, and theaters which add to the rich cultural heritage of our city!

After 36 memorable, challenging years of service, Jon's last visit to USX Towers to sign his final papers for retirement.  The fountain is turned pink yearly in honor of breast cancer awareness.
