Autumn Fun!

It's been 14 years since Cam was last at our favorite pumpkin patch with us.  He was age 14 during his last visit and then became very busy with high school and his sports after which he left for college out west, an LDS mission in Hong Kong and back to Utah to complete his education and begin working.  We are delighted he is back in the burgh for a time and without skipping a beat creating wonderful memories with us once again on this side of the country! The giant rubber ducky has traveled around the world and made it 1st debut stop in America here in Pittsburgh!  Making a statement in the realm of art it fits right in with the Andy Warhol museum and many other studios, galleries, museums, and theaters which add to the rich cultural heritage of our city! 

After 36 memorable, challenging years of service, Jon's last visit to USX Towers to sign his final papers for retirement.  The fountain is turned pink yearly in honor of breast cancer awareness.

An incredibally successful 36 year career comes to a close!

HIP HIP HOORAY ... It's official ... Jon has RETIRED after having enjoyed an incredible 36 year career with US Steel Corporation! ... Challenging goals, fascinating people, interesting travel and experiences ... This is a man who, long prior to retirement, has received personal letters from people in whom he has conducted business with expressing the personal impact he and his level of integrity and character have had on their lives ... From USS Geneva Works in Orem, Utah to USS headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this is a man who is known for "always" seeking to do what is right, treating all people with respect, and demonstrating that one can be successful through hard work, distinct personal ethics, and a genuine enjoyment of his challenging responsibilities ... Those many people from around the world that he deals with month to month will surely miss this remarkable man in whom I love with all of my heart and soul and am blessed to have as my eternal sweetheart and companion! ... CONGRATULATIONS JON ALAN CHRISTESON it has been a wild ride ... We, your family, thank you for being such an exceptional human being, loving, devoted husband and father, wonderful provider and businessman, humble servant of our Lord and Savior, and all around crazy-fun guy ... They just don't make them like you any more! xoxo    

 PS  We are very excited about our upcoming plans and projects, places to go and people to see; we can hardly wait for all of our new adventures in store!   (Note: My business excitedly continues to move onward and upward as usual - I'm not ready to pull the plug just yet on something I have such a passion for! (wink)

Happy Birthday Beautiful Mama!

We love our Ashley babe!  Cheerful, loving, caring, mega motivated multi-tasker, wife and mother :)  It is so delightful seeing our precious daughter maneuver through life as she wraps up her degree in elementary education all the while cooking new recopies for her cute husband, attending to their home, while balancing the demands of another little person in whom she is equally in love with!  Being a mama suits her; I truly feel she was born for this wonderful calling in life; what a remarkable woman she is!  I love you to the moon and back sweetheart!!  Happy, happy birthday  xoxo

In love with our little snickerdoodle!

Oh my goodness - how did we ever live life without this precious little grandson in all of our lives to love and spoil?!  Connor loves his mommy and daddy and they are equally smitten with him; such a darling, so-in-love couple who enjoy their lives together and now are head over heels for their sweet son!  I love watching them with him; how tender and caring they are, such a happy, fun, on the go little family indeed :)  And as for Jon and I we could not be more pleased as we enjoy the role of grandparents!!!  I'm counting the days until my return, just around the corner, so I can play with him all day, sing Primary songs and other cute childhood songs to him, read him some stories, take him on walks outside and just love him to pieces! (grin)  It's going to be fantastic spending time with all three of our incredible kidlets; and of course enjoying some mother-daughter outings with Ash and fun evenings out with Paul.  We are so very blessed!
