The people we meet - the lives we touch.

It has been an incredible ride throughout the years having an opportunity to seek to educate, motivate and inspire remarkable people from all walks of life from diverse work levels, businesses and industries! Here at Christeson & Associates, training with a twist we strive to write, develop and facilitate exciting, innovative, interactive workshops, presentations, keynotes and coaching which will literally change lives.

All people have worth, all possess potential and all have innate as well as distinctly developed skills, aptitudes, and insight which are of value to the world. It is our honor to help people tap into their often 'yet to be discovered' reservoirs of talent and intellect helping to challenge them to make improvements in both their personal and professional lives.

Once again, here is my 'two clap' (standing ovation) for the myriads of individuals we have enjoyed training who have learned to take sound risks, implement creative thinking abilities and further learn to share their time, talent and knowledge with all people they interact with! From college students to seasoned professionals YOU rock!

After all of these years have I inspired you yet to take sound risks in life?!

Here's a two clap (my standing ovation) for all of you who have learned to take many, diverse, sound risks in life prompted by the whisperings of the spirit!

Heavenly Father wants all of His children to learn & experience all that is good during this life; and to include many diverse people in our circle of extended family. How utterly limiting & suffocating to have only experienced the bud of a rose and not its full sublime bloom by journey's end!

I'm sure we will be accountable for any lack of curiosity, desire to learn, or disinterest in sharing our knowledge and wisdom with others during the process. Life is an extraordinary adventure; to squander it by always remaining in ones own comfort zone seldom challenging oneself, never exploring ideas, principles, places or talents is disheartening. So here's to yall who celebrate life, seek to make a difference, live by a personal code of integrity and plummet to the ground in a blazing flame of enthusiasm by days end! You are my kind of people :)

Quilting Bees

My dear friend Gayle surprised me for my birthday with the most exquisite quilt she created! She is such a gifted artist! Vision & talent of this caliber deserve to be celebrated so I want to publicly express my heartfelt gratitude for her endless hours of effort.

I will treasure this gift forever and always as each stitch represents the power of friendship; two young girl friends, now middle aged, (or seasoned as I like to refer to those of us who are no longer young adults) who have enjoyed many years of sharing laughter, concerns, tears, joy, secrets, successes and family. A friendship quilt made by loving hands and accepted by a humble heart. Though I adore my quilt I love Gayle for the caliber of person she is and am so blessed to have her in my life!

(The note I posted on her Facebook wall … Gayle OH MY GOODNESS thank you; what a delightful surprise!!! The quilt you created & sent for my birthday is extraordinary! I've never seen a quilt as exquisite as this; the color palate is simply beautiful and all of your precise handwork is incredible! You are such a gifted artist Gayle; I will treasure this forever and always dear friend. xoxo)

Its been a swell ride! A note I posted on Facebook

Heart flutters & hugs … for all of the warm, birthday wishes from each of you! Thank you dear family & friends! Read what I have written for YOU in return.

Friendships established long ago combined with those which are more recent in the making continue to bring such depth and texture to my life; riches beyond compare! As a writer I can’t help but record in my personal journals endearing memories of each of you. I have something interesting, insightful, or even comical to say about each one of you; as well as all who are not actually on Facebook with the rest of us crazies :)

Each one of you in some fashion has impacted my life for good. Your generous spirits, heartfelt comments, comical stories & comments, and email messages behind the FB wall simply lift my spirits on any given day and bring a smile to my face.

When my family asked what I longed for, for my birthday I responded ‘acts of service’. To me it isn’t the tangible gifts, travel or even the romantic evenings out – though of course I do enjoy and appreciate those surprises as well – but rather, it’s the small, quiet acts of service in my behalf or in others behalf that most touch my heart and are so greatly appreciated. And seeing so many delightful messages on my FB wall falls into that category which further magnified my delight! Receiving what might appear as a simple birthday wish over a social media site like FB is incredible which I’m sure you would all agree.

How rare it is to be so very blessed with an array of friends who know you well or even just a little. Each friend so diverse in nature with your own busy lives and memories which in turn have become woven into the fiber of my own - and for this I thank YOU! What a lovely surprise, what a fun-filled way to start ones birthday! Hugs, Beck

PS I had a major insulin pump malfunction for the past 36 hours so I apologize for not thanking you sooner or individually but what I have done is noted a series of descriptive terms in ‘random order’ which describe each of you. Interesting thing is that when I completed the list it was very apparent that many of the terms actually describe a combination of traits each one of you possess! So folks who wrote on my wall or sent a behind the wall wish, this is my quirky gift to you in return … yunz rock!

Genuine, sincere, incredible mother, incredible father, cute as a button, happy, optimistic, spiritual, fun loving, intelligent, forgiving, attractive, devoted, crazy, motivated, adventurous, loveable, talented, easy going, thoughtful, intuitive, creative, refreshing, charismatic, driven, kind, funny, uplifting, logical, curious, inspiring, nurturing, tolerant, powerful, helpful, patient, proactive, and add simply amazing which describes every single one of you as well! :)
