Happy Father's Day and FIRST GRANDPA'S DAY to the most INCREDIBLE HUSBAND and
FATHER on the planet! Jon I love you with all of my heart and soul, as
do our kids; you are a very unique, special husband and father. I love
your level of integrity, your love and affection for our
family and how you truly understand the sacred practice of selfless
service. You are such a cheerful, joyous dad, filled with fun and also a
fabulous role model not only for our children but many others
throughout the years. You have always provided for us and protected us;
we have never known a moment of undue fear, loneliness or grief due to
your expert, sensitive, loving nature and desire to magnify your role as
a trusted husband and father in our home.
I love that you can be playful and silly and that you sing to me daily every crazy song in the book; and that you are comfortable in your own skin with no need to brag, impress, or seek center stage; frankly I've never known anyone as confident as you without being self-absorbed which I realize comes from diverse life experiences, challenges, and a peaceful calm within yourself knowing that you report to Heavenly Father each night as to the daily life you live as this has blessed you with great humility. And Jon, all of us hold dear the fact that you seek to always magnify your Priesthood in the church and truly serve and care for others. People who have come to know you throughout the years have recognized your strength and insight but it is your family who most treasures the man who loves us so deeply and seeks to make life a little bit of Heaven here on earth. How blessed we are to be sealed to one another in this sweet family of ours and to know that we will have eternity together to continue enjoying your personality and character. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for seeking to be the caliber of man that you are and daddy that you became after ten long years of praying for children!
