Ashley's Passion for Singing!

I am sooooo proud of our Ashley babe! Her vocal audition at UVU for an incredible music scholarship went exceedingly well! She prepared a very difficult, complicated piece to perform (Girl in 14 G) which allowed Ash to demonstrate three musical forms in a story format; Loraine said she did an awesome job (she accompanied her) Loraine also stated that Ash was well spoken and articulate in her interview. All of this combined with her excellent essay, etc., places her in the running for the soul vocal scholarship being awarded. Nevertheless, if she is not selected she can always be proud that she put forth a great deal of effort in order to have walked away knowing she had done her very best. Major congrats to our daughter; I love seeing our kids take risks seeking to make their dreams come true :)
