Yep, we've been having some fun! It was such an incredible experience living with Ashley and Paul for five months while our home was being built. We were able to spend day in and day out with our kidlets and much quality time with our little snickerdoodle grandson! I loved reading him stories, singing songs, playing with toys, and setting off on adventures with him. Jon is also smitten and, likewise, is the coolest grandpa ever! :) Paul and Ashley were such kind, patient, accommodating, hosts but I'm sure by time we left they were glad to have their privacy back and we our routine as well. While there we were able to celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentines Day. It was such fun attending Ashley's various performances for the show choir she directs at her school and going to several fun card classes with her; as well as meeting up with Cam and Sarah in Vegas for Christmas. We had fun Rook games with Paul and play dates at the park with our little boy. In between it all Jon and I buzzed down to St. George several times to oversee the progress of the building of our home, I had surgery (with a very disconcerting two hour episode in the recovery room?!), we were able to finalize the purchase of all of our new furnishings, and spend an inordinate amount of time transferring our east coast life to the west! We thoroughly enjoyed attending Ash and Paul's lovely ward, making new friends along the way and rediscovering nearly every inch of the Utah and Salt Lake valleys. It was a once in a lifetime experience for all of us and such a blessing in each of our lives! PS We love all of our kidlets to pieces and feel so richly blessed to have all of them in our lives! PSS We ALL could have done without Paul's sisters two dogs combined with our three for the week of Thanksgiving! lol ... now that was an experience we are all thrilled we survived! :)
